ABOUT GREEK WEEK

Greek Week is an event organized through the Yacht Week (www.theyachtweek.com) that is specifically for Greek American young adults (Ages: 20 - 28). The first annual trip is July 10th -17th , 2021. Our goal is to allow Greek Americans to meet new people and have fun in their home country, while also raising money for the Athens startup scene.

ITINERARY 

Below is the itinerary for the week. Get ready for a journey of a lifetime with other Greek American kids. The route is the same as the Athens Classic Route on the Yacht Week website, but the boats and events are reserved just for our event.

DAY 1

Start your journey at Alimos Marina to get your yacht for the week.

DAY 2

Explore the island of Poros. Visit Love Bay, drive ATVs, play water volleyball, and attend a sunset dinner.

DAY 3

Porto Heli is the next stop. Bring a fun float for the Raft party and a fun outfit for the themed party at night. 

DAY 4

Stop at Ermioni for the Riveria Chic White Party.

DAY 5

It's Regatta Day! Compete in the race and have a sunset hike on Dokos island.

DAY 6

Spend the day on Hydra, shopping and eating. End the night with a party.

Say your final goodbyes and have one last fun night at Akanthus Beach Club, Athens. 

 
Amenities Included?

Personal Host + Food 

Your host will make freshly prepared meals for you everyday meaning the only thing you have to worry about is finding the best place to enjoy the sun and a gorgeous sail. The host is included. He/She will freshly prepare and serve all your breakfasts, lunches and two dinners during the week, as well as keep the common areas of the yacht clean and tidy. They are:

  • a Culinary genius

  • a Local know-it-all

  • Trained at TYW Host Academy

FAQs

Q: What is the Cancellation Policy?

A: If you wish to cancel there will be a cancellation fee (plus 5% admin fee) that increases depending on how close to the trip you cancel. If it is 24 hours - 30 days after booking, the fee is 10%. Thereafter to 91 days before prior to the event, the fee is 40%. Lastly, 90 days or less to the event dat, the fee is 100%. For the fine print contact info.greekweek@gmail.com.

Q: Can I buy Travel Insurance?

A: The Greek Week and the Yacht Week do not sell or provide travel insurance. We suggest buying Extended Travel Disruption Insurance.

Q: Do you offer an Installment Payment Plan?

A: Yes, we do! Send an installment plan request via info.greekweek@gmail.com or call 410-292-4109.

Q: Are you affiliated with The Yacht Week?

A: Yes, our trip is organized through the Yacht Week. They provide the boats, staff, and more. We bring the Greeks and add-ons for the private event to run seamlessly. 

Q: When does the Early Bird Special end?

A: The Early Bird Special on all bookings end November 9th, 2020 at midnight EST.  

Q: What is the Age Requirement?

A: You must be between the ages of 20 - 28 to attend.

Q: Do I have to sign waivers?

A: Yes, any legal waiver and/or legal documents will be signed through email correspondence with the Yacht Week after you book, but some are saved for Check-In Day in Greece.
